Here you can delete the files marked in the duplicate files list. There are several available settings for file deletion:
Delete to the Recycle Bin where possible - The files can be deleted to the recycle bin or permanently if unchecked. (careful with this one). Be warned that zipped files, files on removable drives and network files may be permanently deleted even if the Recycle option is checkmarked.
Via Windows shell - Files are deleted via the Windows Explorer shell and will display the familiar progress graph and estimates. This option is usually faster depending on the system and drive. If there are problems with this you can uncheck this option and Duplicate Cleaner will remove the files directly.
Skip problem files - If checked, you won't be prompted by Windows if the process has trouble with a file.
Remove empty folders - After the file removal, Duplicate Cleaner will remove any empty folders where at locations where files were removed. It will also remove empty sub folders.
Protect important system folders - Files will not be removed from important system folders. For a list of these folders, see Scan location tab
You can also view the Recycle bin and view or edit the Recycle bin settings (these are Windows control panel settings)
